Really does suck. These last two weeks have been like a straight kick to the nuts.

Next year is our year!

Not to be a negawhodat.. But just being completely honest, did you expect more? I expected to be a 3-win team with absolutely nothing at all to cheer for.

It's a damn disappointment to lose like we have these last two weeks when we were really getting into the hunt, but we've done much better than I thought we would, considering the circumstances.

Regardless, forever

Without the GM, Head Coach and Assistant Coach missing some or all of the season, what did you expect?

If teams could win without this level of management, no teams would have these positions.

Not to sound like a Posi-Whodat but I thought we would go 16-0. I never think we are going to lose. Only seems like we lose when we beat our self.

I know that sounds stupid but shite I just can't bring myself to think that we "should" lose. Of course we could, but imo we never should. Especially with the way our D has been playing!

It seems to me you and a lot of Saints fans are obviously spoiled. But that is a real good thing. Old timers will tell you that 5 and 7 and still in the playoff hunt at this time of the year would have made us fap .But the last 6 years have been something special and have spoiled me as well. And this week I feel like I've been fricked with a cactus but I think back at the good old days, are should I say the bad old days, and feel a little better but not much. But the Saints still have a shot .And I am all in and I am not ready to say wait until next year

I've been having a good time.

Games have been a blast, Dome looks better than ever.

Next year, we get our coach back and we'll win enough to make a run.

Relax, life is good.

I kinda agree with you.

I thought we could still compete. And really we are, but those first four games just killed us. And that was a direct affect of not having Payton.

But it's also why I'm not all pissy about the team this season. Yes I thought we were going to have a better record, but I understand why we don't.

Just enjoy the wins and curse that bitch Goodell.

Also, we still aren't out of it.

I can't wait for this next game to see if this Def can keep it up. NYG plays MNF, so we have 4 days off more than they do. hopefully the weather won't be too bad.

Yeah before this year I went into every game confident that we would win. This year has changed that for me sadly. I still believe we can be an elite team with Payton back next year but my mindset has shifted

It just completely annoys me how some people act like we are witnessing the downward spiral of the franchise. They have basically jumped of the bandwagon.

Next year we will be right back at the top. I did not expect to win it all this year, though I thought we could. And that's enough for me in this situation.

Pretty crazy really. Honestly, if Brees doesn't have two bad games in a row, we are 7-5 right now. Pretty good job considering.

what makes it bearable is knowing the well oiled machine of the Payton led Saints will be back. It's like uh oh, no playoffs... reboot... back we go

They are pretty much meeting my expectations.
