Brees goes down early in game one and is IRed. How many games can we win?
It's to discuss McCown. I've been impressed by him much more than last year's camp. I actually think we could break .500. With a little luck, maybe even playoffs.

Without an elite quarterback, we aren't anywhere near a playoff team. A lot of folks still don't think we are even with Brees. McCown is not even close to Brees's level. We'd be doomed. 3-6 wins.

Meh. I think .500 would be the absolute ceiling IMO.

Brees down in the first game? Simple. We become a run heavy team. Payton designs trick passing plays that no one has seen before. Ingram lives up to his reputation as the next Emmitt Smith and we win the superbowl.
