The silence is scary!

I'd like to think that it means they don't need to reassure that Payton is our coach because he's under contract. It just seems odd that they are keeping quiet even through all the speculation. Makes me feel like they are seeing what the best offer is on the table knowing they are parting ways. I sure hope if they do part ways that they have their coach lined up " please not Marrone" as there is other teams with head starts.

The reason they do not have to reassure you and coddle you 24/7 is because he is under contract and SP cannot just leave.

Gase is still supposed to interview w/ Giants i believe. Gase, Hue are two of my favorites if saints made a move.

I like Gase too if Payton is gone but I would really like to bring in a defensive guy and just let Carmichael stick around to run the offense

Vic Fangio deserves his shot at a head coaching gig. With Vics ties to NO and their GM probably having a good relationship with us im sure we'd get permission to interview.
