The Saints announced the UDFA class and K Sergio Castillo and LB TraShaun Nixon weren't on the list.

Not sure if the were just invites instead or if things went wrong.

17 in UDFA Class

That also means we only have 86 players signed.

Coleman might be a good get.

kind of reminds me of that Jonathon Baldwin guy out of Pitt a few years ago.

Saints add 2

I know this had a thread but figured it should be here in the centralized thread too.

We added 1 more UDFA with defensive tackle Moses McCray and another second year player with offensive tackle Manase Foketi.

So that makes 18 UDFAs and 2 2nd year guys added since the draft bringing our number to 88.

You can expect us to be at 90 soon after this weekend's rookie minicamp where we'll see what positions might still be a little weak.

Hamm apparently comes from my hometown of Leesville, but maybe im just getting old i don't know, but i've never heard of the kid. Usually in a small town like that, you know when someone has buzz. Michael Ford for instance, was highly touted, everyone knew what he could do on the field, but i've never heard of Hamm. Does he have even the slightest chance of making it? Anyone have any details on him?

Edit: After reading about him some, his 40 time was ridiculously slow, then i read down some and it lists him as moving to tight end...so thats interesting.

Must have been mistaken:

Also, we signed rush OLB/DE Cheta Ozougwu. He isn't a rookie but was a camp invite.

That brings us to 89 or 90 depending on Devon Walker's situation.

So just an upkeep, we signed OT Thomas Welch, rush OLB/DE Cheta Ozougwu, HB Derrick Strozier, and WR Steve Hull after the try outs. We released OG Micajah Reynolds and NT Brandon McCray.

All of our draft picks are signed. I'm assuming Walker was released/had a 3 day contract to make room for Fortt as no other releases were mentioned.

So we should be at 90 now.

How many olbs do we have on this roster. I know rob Ryan's defense utilizes them but holy shite.
