Bottom Line
While Stills isn't the biggest or the fastest, he has a knack for finding ways to get open. He has the ability to track the football, and make some extremely difficult catches. Stills will likely be selected around the third round.

quote:

Stills isn't necessarily impressive physically with average size for the position (6-foot-1, 190 pounds). But he plays with good quickness and body control, showing the confidence to bring down any pass in his area.

He has a few minor character concerns after a DUI arrest in 2011, which prompted a one-game suspension last season, but Stills is a talented pass catcher who could be taken on the draft's second day. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

Son of Kenny and Annett Stills ... father played safety for the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings ... uncle, Gary Stills, played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.

144. Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma: A- Grade
Receiver wasn't a perceived need for the Saints heading into the draft, but there was room for improvement with Devery Henderson gone. Kenny Stills was a fourth-round prospect, so New Orleans is getting good value with him.

I mean, I guess "technically" he isn't THE fastest, but 4.38 is pretty damn fast

Edit: STEVED00 my bad. didn't see your post or I wouldn't have posted the exact same thing

I don't know what they mean by that either. In fact, in his highlight films he has to stop to catch the ball on his vertical routes. Has good body control keeping both feet in bounds and making some really tough catches.

Looks like he had a DUI and was suspended for a game or two as a Soph. Was a five star coming out of high school. Looks like size (6'0") and maturity are the only knocks on him.

Looks like a really good pick for us. Seems like he's just a football player. I'm liking him better than Toon on just the little I've seen on him.

Yet another need filled by the Saints. Needed somebody to compete with Joe Morgan for Devery's spot, or at the very least, provide insurance that the Saints can continue to stretch the field if Morgan goes down.

This has been a fricking great draft.

This guy is a bigger Lance Moore...and no not bc he's light skinned. Watched him a lot at OK. So all those away games that Lance sits due some injury this cat can fill in.

Saw a few things I liked.

Good awareness. Two feet in on a couple sideline catches. Bobbled balls. He grabbed them.

Fast. Was running wide open often.

Concentration. When guys were on him, was able to catch in traffic.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Freek.
