I'm hoping Ryan doesn't give preference to these old, under performing veterans.
I don't think that's going to happen with him. With Payton I would be worried about it, but I'm hopeful that a year off has allowed him to have a more objective approach about everyone's abilities.
So with Payton back and a defensive scheme more suited to our players, I think we have great potential heading into the year. 13-3?
I think the fact that the first thing he did was to fire his friend and switch to a new system should tell everyone that no one on that defense is safe.
