For all he has done for this organization. I still remember the Super Bowl like it was yesterday. I feel bad that he's going to be traded away to the Rams but it has to be done. How will the reunion between him and Greg Williams be?

Very true but when he first came here we drafted really well. Or maybe we just had a string of lucky hits. What will be interesting
If he goes to the Rams is finding out if he'll draft LSU players or not. If so we'll know it was Benson or Loomis that hates LSU.

Our Front office is so dumb that they will probably just let Sean walk away for free when they could have gotten at least a 3rd round pick for him.

You're being unfair. You're forgetting all of the veteran free agents he pushed to sign that turned out to be busts, too.

I appreciate his role in bringing a Super Bowl victory to New Orleans. But that trophy has cobwebs on it, the Saints have been 7-9 in four of the last five years, and I'm done with him having control of personnel given his talent evaluation is shoddy at best.

If he leaves, Loomis probably takes on a greater role in player personnel, which is scary as shite. And I have no faith in this organization hiring a good successor to Payton. But just like the Miles firing, I'm ready for something new, even if it's worse. I'm ready for a new kind of suck.
