Super Bowl winning QBs not drafted by their team

In other words, started their career with another team before being traded or acquired
Brees was the most recent
Dilfer, Plunkett, Brad Johnson, Favre, Warner, Unitas, Eli Manning, Young, Williams
Of these only Williams, Dilfer, Johnson, Plunkett were not "developed" by their SB winning team
Heard this on HOUSTON AM 790 today and thought it was pretty telling that it really begins with drafting and developing a QB to reach elite status

The manning Broncos experiment failed.

Meh, I'd take a banged up Manning over Tim "Throw a Duck to Jesus" Tebow any day. I liked Elway as a player, I just don't think he makes a good GM. Hard to deny some of the problems on that team stem from decisions made in the front office.

If you've got Eli Manning on this list, by definition you would have to include John Elway as well.

Fun fact: the Saints have not drafted a QB in the 1st rd since Archie

Interesting topic, slightly different questions I have thought about for a while regarding Super Bowl winning QB's but haven't researched is:
1) How many QB's have won their first super bowl with a team, after having been on that team for more than 5 years? I can think of 2 off hand, Elway & Peyton Manning
2) How many QB's have won a second super bowl with the same team 5 years after the first?
My thoughts that stirred up these questions were for teams like San Diego, in the offseason there were discussions about Rivers being re-signed, and many pundits saying they HAD to have him, but my question was is it worth it? If he hasn't won the big game in San Diego after all these years, will he ever?
Also with us, we all love Drew Brees and everything he has done for us and is a future HOF, but now we are in our 6th season with him since winning the super bowl, my question is has the league caught up to Drew Brees in New Orleans and Rivers in San Diego, Romo in Dallas, and to an extent Rodgers in GB even though Rodgers is more likely an exception to the rule along with Elway & Manning? QB's develop habits and plays over the years with more and more game film on them for defenses to study. Sure the playcaller has to be a big part of that too, as well as supporting cast and defense and special teams, but just curious as to how many QB's fall into that category and when looking at those numbers is it worth to hang onto the same QB for that long

I think really goes for every position. A team that drafts better, doesn't HAVE to spend big money on FAs. Free Agency becomes more of a luxury for them.

I mean they'd rather the super bowl, but that is true for any team
That would be the 2nd best season in Saints history and tied for the best in Falcons history
