They don't have to, they lose next week at the Giants, they just need to lose one of their last two at home

Even if Seattle would have won today we would still be alive for the 1 seed

Just because the Saints suck on the road doesn't mean everyone does. Tampa Bay almost beat them in Seattle.

Duh but for as little chance as there is for them losing two of three there was even less of a chance of them losing out. Thusly.. Still alive.

I they lose one more to an NFC opponent and we win out we would certainly have the 1 seed, correct? Seeing as though two of our three losses were to AFC opponents. Head to head wouldn't matter because our conference record would be the tiebreaker.

No. Head to head comes before conference

we aren't getting the 1 seed

we need to pull for this

1) Carolina gets 5 seed
2) San Fran Gets 6 seed
3) San Fran beats 3 seed (I guess NFC east champ)
4 NFC north camp beats Carolina
5) San Fran goes to Seatle and upsets them
6) we win at home against NFC north champ
7) we play san fran at home

There's a decent chance this could happen, or something similiar with Carolina knocking off the Seahawks instead of SF.

Nope, 2 out of 4 will do the trick as well!

Or we could just shut the world up and kick Seattle's teeth in at Seattle in the NFCCG

They will lose @NY

Doubt they lose at home though. Also, beating Carolina twice will be difficult, especially in Carolina.

Lol, there's not "a decent chance" Seattle loses at home. The Saints are arguably the second best team in the NFL, and we got prison raped when we played at their place.

It is VERY unlikely Seattle loses at home people.
