Does this hurt Ingram or ivory?

Or maybe even PT?

Or are we going to be even better?

We now have more options with our RB. This is a good thing, more that SF has to game plan for and more different looks that we can throw at them. I imagine the only change to our starters will be deactivating Cadet.

I feel like if we don't see Ivory. Then Ingram goes back to being shitty

Can't argue here. Ingram is much better when he's got Ivory looking over his shoulder (or TR while at Bama).

I think Cadet goes inactive and Ivory sticks around.

Except we need PT or whoever is our better blocking back in there to help double team their DE's or get the free runner from their stunts.

I hope we have a RB and TE in on every play to help chip on their ends.

This. As great as Willis & Bowman are, the Saints have the personnel in Graham & Sproles give them headaches in the passing game.

Its going to be key to get Graham & Sproles matched up one on one in open space in the passing game to "expose" those two inside linebackers.

Having Sproles back only adds to the weapons available especially in the redzone. The only negative about Sproles returning is the question of how strong is his wrist at this point. Also how much will we see of him on special teams? With it looking like Cadet will be sitting, Sproles could be vulnerable on kickoff & punt returns. With Cadet's big return against the Raiders, could someone else possibly sit inorder to allow Cadet to do returns? You better believe the 49ers will test Sproles wrist every chance they get.

The niners shut down the run for the most part any ways.. it would be better to have a pass catching quick back probably.. kinda like how Reggie Bush schooled Willis a couple years back.

Didn't we lose Thomas and 6 points at the goal line on the first drive of the game? If Thomas doesn't take the hit in the head and fumble the running game and the outcome could have been much different.

Argh.... such bad memories of that game. And it could have been sooooooo good too. What could have been the lsat minute game winning TD from Brees to Graham would be almost as legendary as the Hartley Kick and the Porter Pick 6...because I have no doubt in my mind that if we won that game we would have gone on to win another superbowl.

Bring on the 9ers!
