Spiller's role will be RB/Receiver, rather than pure RB. RB's are not getting paid.
But I'm sure MI won't be happy, but he's got a better than average chance of actually playing out his contract at that price.

We're fine cap wise. We can be over until preseason and have plenty of options left to get under if needed.
Also, his 2015 cap hit will probably be small. Saints have the 5th most space for 2017

Different players. Sproles is explosive , where PT has the balance and grinds for the first down. He isn't really a matchup nightmare speed wise

this role is critical in Paeyton's offense, and it was missing last year. He will be utilized in more ways, and was paid as such.
I do agree Ingram may not be happy, but if his is more guaranteed overall then everything will be copacetic
