Speculation

Current Haden Contract

I for one would be ok with this move if it were a first and a mid rounder.

Would not hate it either. A healthy Breaux and Haden would be legit.

what the Browns would say if the Saints came calling with a first-round pick for Haden and a mid-round selection.

Anything outside of a pass rusher I'm not interested. But giving up a first and fourth for a corner past his prime sounds like just the kind of thing this front office would do

Past his prime? Dude is only 27 and made his first 2 pro bowls in 2013-14 before getting hurt last season. I agree pass rusher is the most pressing concern, but maybe look before making an uninformed post

a first

no, judging from the first game and the preseason that first round pick will be really high

I think 5-11 is a real possibility this season. I don't see the defense stopping anyone.

Wouldn't give up a 1st. We also would have to make room for him cap wise as his base is over $10 million a year.

he would suck on the Saints as would most DBs without a pass rush

Browns LCB Joe Haden (injured reserve, concussions) says he dealt with headaches, light sensitivity and was "hidden in his house for a month or two" after suffering his second concussion of the season in Week 8.

That's as scary as it gets with concussions, but Haden has already indicated he plans to return in 2016. Another concussion could end Haden's career.
