USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports Richard Sherman "isn't going anywhere" unless a team "blows away" the Seahawks.

"The Seahawks want a lot to part with Sherman," Pelissero writes. "I’ve heard it might take something like first- and third-round picks." Previous reports have said Seattle is looking for a high pick and a "very good player," but two high picks would likely get the job done as well. That said, Pelissero does not expect those offers to come, and he reports both sides are "good" with staying together for another season. The 29-year-old corner is owed $22.4 million over the final two years of his contract.

We wanted a heavy offer and it took the last 1st and swap of 3/4...

Bet you a 2nd and they say okay.

Do not want if we have to give compensation. I'd rather draft a CB

What if we end up with sherman and butler. Our secondary would be the best ever. Heck sign revis move him to safety.

Since Sherman said he was the best DB in the league...he ain't done a whole lot but get cooked. He is not a shut down corner and not worth anything more than a third...at best.

I just feel that without Earl Thomas to back him up he will get exposed. Our Front 4 hasn't shown the ability to generate a pass rush to help him if he came here either.

People always say without Earl Thomas he will get exposed but alot of times he is one on one
Now don't get me wrong he is getting up in age and is not the same guy he was three years ago.
Also someone said they will take a second rounder for him not a chance. Then they would just trade him next year cause he only makes 11 mil for a top 15 corner

Enough of the BS. Draft a corner at 11. I'm tired of us getting hosed.

Yeah I wouldn't trade for Sherman I want Butler but don't give up more than 42 when Chandler Jones only drew a late second.
Butler plays with a chip and none of the locker room stuff with Sherman.
If he can't get along with his brothers from the lob how do u think he will react when Vonn Bell has his first sophomore mistake . Not good

I wouldnt mind trading him, but not for what they are asking.

I think he could bring a veteran presence and is still a good player. We have sorely lacked leadership on defense.

Agree.

but his price tag isn't worth it.

that is of course if reports are true of what the Seahawks want for him.

I really don't want anything to do with Sherman. I'd take him for a 3rd, but we all know that Seattle won't do that.

Butler or draft a CB at 32/42 for me. I'd be ok with either. It's a no brainer if we can get Butler for #42(even a 2018 mid rounder if necessary). #32 is a steep price, but I think it's a good move in the grand scheme of things.
