Ya gotta love parity in the NFL. They keep ya watching cuz you are truly never out of it until you are. Before yesterday I was pondering how I could deal with an 0-4 start. One win and I'm thinking THIS PFT article. 5 teams that started 0-7 but then went 13-0. I can see it now...

Atlanta loses in Denver and Seattle, is then 3-3
The Panthers beat TB on MNF, then 2-3
Saints beat carolina after the BYE, then 2-3
Panthers 2-3 then
Bucs 1-4

One game out as bad as they have looked sounds great right now

Y'all aren't out of it. Atlanta has a murderous row of games coming up but winning against Carolina helped immensely.

ATL looks good right now but tough schedule with a lot of away games the next 5 weeks or so.
CAR looks bad.
TB looks bad.
Saints also look bad but a W is a W.

Thank god we are in the NFC South.

We got to win a game without help before I start looking any farther than the very next game on the schedule though.

Wish I could disagree with all that DD.

And Blu I've done the "just get back to .500" for 3 seasons now.
Tired of it. Winning 1 outta every 4 seems about right for this team this year.

I think that all things considered we are definitely out of it.

But it is promising to see a young team overcome adversity on the road, and it's good for their psyche. I think that with a solid FA period and draft, plus the return of all of our injured players, we have a real shot to be something in 2017.

Yeah look here's the thing. It was fun to win and I'm proud of the D for somehow putting that last 8 minutes together... BUT... at the end of the day we scored 35 points and STILL the opposing team had the ball with 2 minutes to play and only needing about 40 yards for a game winning field goal. We aren't going to win many games against top tier opponents like that. I'll take the win because it's a hell of a lot more fun than losing, but they have to show me more than that before I'm going to start thinking about the long term. One game at a time.

There is only two juggernauts right now Eagles and vikings. The qbs will be iffy in the playoffs you can bank on that. As far as the rest all teams have glaring weeknesses. This year will be whoever gets hot in the end .

The thing is that every team in the division has glaring weaknesses outside of Atlanta (right now). I think Atlanta has been pretty fortunate injury wise.

Carolina has an awful offensive line and can't rush the passer. Cam is playing absolutely awful and at this rate won't make it all year. We get them in the dome, after a bye, while they come off a short week for MNF. We'll get Armstead and Ellerbe back for that one too (for his few games a season)

If we can somehow survive in the race until Breaux and Rankins come back, I can see us putting together a run. We had some young players emerge on the dline this past game too.

This is one of the few times an early bye is beneficial. We need to blow the Panthers out, and I think we will.

anyone who has seen seattle play should know that they're truly out of it barring a major injury.
