how many times have I just said, "let them score and give us time to win the game".

well.....in this case.....the 40 yrd pass interference was our best friend last night.

you just can't give drew and sean 5 minutes to win the game. the odds are not good for the opponent.

I actually agree.

Told my wife at the time ... "Philly and the Refs just did us a huge favor."

Otherwise ... at the rate they were progressing, they possibly wouldn've eaten all of the clock and scored.

5 min, down 2 on the road in the playoffs ... with CSP, Brees, and Co ? Heck ... I like those odds.

Nice kick return plus horsecollar penalty was sweet, too.

This was the catalyst, no doubt

We were down one actually, but they tick tack calls we were getting assured us of nothing if we did not execute perfectly, which we did.

What I don't understand is how we can drive to score and win when needed but we can't get one 1st down to run out the clock and seal the win in other games.

Desperation either brings out your best or your worst. We got the best last night

Of course the way we got those last 2 first downs were just as big.

You guys aren't fooling anyone. You were aging a year a minute like the rest of us on that last drive

Sticking with the run game. And that mindset would have won us the jets, patriots and 2nd carolina games as well.

I was kind of hoping that they would run more clock before they scored. Maybe to around 2:00. But it worked out great. I was especially impressed with how they ran the clock down and converted first downs by running right down their throats when they knew we were going to run the ball.

That being said, if they expect Corey White and Rod Sweeting to start and be effective in the secondary going forward then they wont win another game.
