Brees will forever be one of the greatest Saints in history.. A class act who not only gave us a World Championship but who has been very important for the city.. We all know this. But now with his performance on the field slowing downa little and getting up there in age... When do we go after a young possible franchise QB to maybe learn under Brees for a couple years?

We need to spend 3 years building the O line so when a new QB is ready to take over he'll have a solid line in front of him.

That said, unless Payton stays on board for a few more years, it's going to be some very sad seasons until the Saints get that franchise QB.

Is there another Andrew Luck on the Horizon? No? When he shows up, then we tank. Until then it's really all a crap shoot with the QBs. The best we could hope for in the short term is to have some developing talent/discarded player from another team land in our lap like Brees did.

Let brees play until his contract expires or another year or so past that. Use everything to make the surrounding team as best as possible to try to win. When brees retries, sign jamarcus russell for a year. Then when we win 2 games, we sign the best qb in the next draft class.

I can see where this is going...

I wouldn't mind getting Sean Mannion in the late rounds. QB from Oregon State.

Drew Brees stats are actually better than Tom Brady's any of the years he won the Super Bowl... Brees is off yes, but this is just one off season... We will not find anyone better than drew. Drew is one of the greatest qbs of all time... What are the chances we get someone better? Slim to none...

Would love to see the Saints draft Prescott in the 2nd if he declares. He's a good ole Louisana boy with undeniable talent. Brees has just gotten too old I think.

No. He's gotten old. Would love to see the saints either trade for Johnny Football or draft Dak Prescott. It's time for a change....

The Dophins are still looking for a Marino replacement

The Bills are still trying to replace Jim Kelly (okay Bledsoe had one good year)

The Bears are still looking to replace Sid Luckman.

You pretty much have to strike oil and get hit by lightning twice to land a Brady or Rodgers (non/late first round elite QBs)

You are not going to sign any franchise QBs. They don't exist. Brees only made it to New Orleans because of the shoulder injury. You are going to have to draft one. We need a scenario to happen like Rodgers in Green Bay.

Although I know it's not all his fault Drew frustrated me a lot this year.. I understand about building a solid O-line... I think Drew has 3 solid seasons left in him but to me I think Peyton would be genius with a dual threat QB in the mix.. I'd love to see it..

Did you actually watch him this season? He was a huge disappointment.
