Even if they win, you hold the trump card

"Roll tide!"

"What year did you graduate?"

Yeah, there is some truth in there but that doesn't mean that their trashing talking has gotten old and predictable.

I've almost forgotten what it is like around here when things don't go their way.

Are you really that stupid? Goddamn you make some retarded threads. The NFL playoff system isn't the same as the bowl system college uses. You have to keep a strong bowl record in your conference to get media bias when voting comes around the next season...

If everyone in the SEC lost, the media would just say it was an incredibly overrated conference and they would give favor to teams like Oregon in PAC-12.

Do you have a link to this stupid theory? And what does early bias voting have to do with hardly anything. It's completely meaningless.

I guess if Bama loses, SEC might as well take next year off.

I'll tell you what, the friends I have who actually went to school there are first class fans.

Most of the people where I went to school (South Alabama) care more about Alabama or Auburn more. This state is just obsessed with both of those schools.

The Saints have always been my favorite team. I caught plenty of shite for that when I was growing up too But now that the Saints have gotten good over the last few years, there is a lot of band wagon schtick to deal with. I almost miss getting taunted for being a Saints fan.

This guy I work with at the coal terminal asked me how the Saints managed to draft Drew Brees and Reggie Bush in the same draft.... that is the kind of shite I'm talking about. Lulz.

Because media has an entire poll devoted to them in NCAA. When the end season comes, they're going to look back on the SEC who lost every bowl game the season before and say this supposedly vigorous SEC schedule they played this year isn't so special. Media controls a piece of the pie.

I'm not sure how that's hard to understand and why college football fans cheer for their conference. It's a shite way to do things but it's the system they have.

So media whips out the previous year's Bowl Schedule Results and formulates their rankings on that at the end of the next season? That's fricking insane, we should alert congress.

In goes in their decision, yes. They look at who the team played out of conference(including that season) and then they give their judgments. If the SEC lost every bowl game the season before and then came around with no powerhouse teams in the conference playing anybody worth a damn OOC, they're going to say it's a weak arse conference. They will just say they knock each other off because it's conference play and they're forced to play each other. It's a stupid system.

The only thing they can go by is OOC. SEC gains so much favor because they usually dominate OOC. So sometimes you'll see a 2 loss SEC team ahead of a 1 loss ACC team. The reasoning is the SEC dominates so much OOC and they have so many powerhouses in the SEC, it's only fair a 2 loss team is ranked over a perceived weaker 1 loss team. Nobody knows if that 1 loss team is actually weaker because they never play.

One of the most pathetic things I witnessed was Ole Miss fans chanting "SEC" at the end of the Compass Bowl.

You need to understand trolling and learn how to apply it.
