Or draft one? I hope Ingram comes around and plays in his form of the end of last season, but who knows? Pierre probably doesn't have many great years left, imo we should go after a big play guy.

A big play guy that we won't give many carries to.

Don't think so

Unless the guy is the next Adrian Peterson, I never want to draft a big time runningback, at least not in the first round.

I could see us using a mid-late round pick on a back in next year's draft, but I don't think it's a big need. We have a tendency to hit on the UDFAs more than the actual draft picks at RB.

Eff no. The RB position is becoming less and less important.

It depends on Robinson and Cadet. If they do well I can't imagine drafting a RB.

Even if the running game is weak this year I can't see us spending a high pick in the draft. The value of the pick is usually higher than the return when selecting a RB. I think we learned that three years ago.

Build and/or maintain a quality OL and you can plug in RBs as needed.

Yes. Not holding my breath on Ingram. Should have targeted Jeremy Hill this year.

It depends on who and in what round.

Also, not to say we were targeting a HB, but Payton did say they were looking at taking Hyde and Hill if they had fell(not that they would have, but just discussing the options).

So we won't shy away from a position in and of itself. It all depends on the players available at our pick.

Had Hill fallen to us I absolutely think we should have taken him(no homero). If there is someone like that in next year's draft I'll feel the same way. We could really use another Deuce.

We have a talented back field already. I think we are stacked. Saints commit to the run. They will be unstoppable.

Next year is a pretty real possibility of taking a RB we expect to contribute. I don't realistically see Ingram sticking here after this year and who knows how much longer Thomas will play. I think Robinson is our lead back of the future but well need someone else to complement for sure

Todd Gurley, maybe? You let Ingram go, plug Gurley in at the rookie pay scale. Upgrade and save money at the same time.

Just an idea

The Saints already have the most versatile RB (Thomas) in the league according to Brees.

Who's his replacement?

I've heard the new guy Tim Flanders has a similar skill set.
