Should we draft a kicker with one of our later picks? Our kicking game has been weak the last couple years.

I almost wish we'd trade for a beast kicker. It really is an important part of the game that can solely affect the outcomes of games. I do not trust Graham at all

you act like the saints havent' tried to draft a few kickers over the years. seems like just as they can't find LB they can't find a K

drafting kickers yields no better results than UDFA IMO

all the kickers drafted since the Saints last spent a 6th Rder on one...

2014 1 7 13 228 Zach Hocker Redskins Arkansas
2 7 14 229 Nate Freese Lions Boston College
2013 1 5 33 166 Caleb Sturgis Dolphins Florida
2 6 9 177 Dustin Hopkins Bills Florida State
2012 1 5 26 161 Randy Bullock Texans Texas A&M
2 6 1 171 Greg Zuerlein Rams Missouri Western
3 6 5 175 Blair Walsh Vikings Georgia
4 7 44 251 John Potter Bills Western Michigan
2011 1 4 23 120 Alex Henery Eagles Nebraska
2 6 27 192 Matt Bosher Falcons Miami (FL)
2009 1 5 36 172 David Buehler Cowboys USC
2 7 47 256 Ryan Succop Chiefs South Carolina
2008 1 6 12 178 Taylor Mehlhaff Saints Wisconsin
2 7 28 235 Brandon Coutu Seahawks Georgia

If Roberto Aguayo was coming out this year then I would say Hell Yes!! But hes not so no there's no one worth a pick this year. just pick up Justin Manton as an UDFA after the draft.

Didn't the Saints sign Dustin Hopkins? He's on this list.

Arguably the two best young kickers in the NFL, Dan Bailey and Justin Tucker, are undrafted, I believe.

Yes the saints did sign Dustin Hopkins who was the Bills #177th pick in 2013 an was hurt in camp he is healthy now an will end up saints kicker as Graham may start out season but Hopkins would be on the practice squad an will be to me moved up when ready i think thats what Payton plans to do.As i recall late last year Hopkins was signed to saints practice squad an at end of season was signed to a two or three year contract.Saints will not draft a Kicker they do not have to The Bills did it for them.He is out of Flordia state an to me if he came out this year would have been the top rated kicker in the draft an again a late round pick by some team.saints furture kicker already on the roster relax.
