No reason to play and get injured.

I want yards and the win. If we get up or down big probably need to be careful.

Ya, but winning does absolutely nothing but hurt draft position.

This season is lost, no reason to win.

Rest Brees and Cameron Jordan and lets get ready for the draft.

I'm all about one word now. Schadenfreude. Good German word. Look it up.

Win or lose doesn't have a huge impact on draft position. They've played harder than ever since being eliminated from playoffs, I don't expect that to stop now.

Let him get his 5k on Sunday, then pull him in the 3rd quarter after we are up by 31.

That's all fine and good, except now doesn't mean anything.

Like it doesn't mean anything at all.

Like there is no positive outcome if the saints win or lose.

Let Brees get 142 yards and then pull him.

No.

Collect the saliva from his hands as he licks them from the sideline...as he won't need it...and feed it to his huddled masses.

Are you crazy? Did you not see how that BIG win against Tampa last yr to end the season carried over into this yr? We need the momentum!

People don't care about the future, they just want the wins now even though they mean nothing.

Yet if he goes out there and gets hurt, people will be calling for Payton's head for allowing him to play and risk injury in a meaningless game.

Falcons kicked the Saints arse on Steve Gleason night in the Dome when it mattered.

Its going to be a lot worse Sunday.

No need to get Brees hurt in this meaningless loss- keep him on the bench.

This is a young team that needs to learn how to finish games consistently, get all the reps they can and have the opportunity to put an arse whuppin' on their arch enemies. If you can't understand this than you are not a true fan. Also I think Brees has earned the opportunity to decide if he wants to play this so called pointless game. Why don't you suggest to Brees that he sits this one out and wait for his response. To the players taking the field and giving 100% if this game doesn't mean anything else to them it shows they have self respect and pride and that's reason enough.
