admittedly I didn't notice if he did or not. I spent most of the day dreading 3rd downs by the Saints defense. I think in the 2nd half New England toned it down. Part of it was some more of their players got hurt. And like Romo said.. it's hard to stay super aggressive each drive when you have a lead that isn't really being threatened.
I don't know if New England chewed us up in the run game or not. #35 got a lot of carries compared to every one else in the game (both teams) but didn't look all that impressive (doesn't matter).
i guess maybe he played well against the run though? I'm not saying he sucked rushing the passer but it just felt like any time the Saints got any pressure it was off the edge and usually Brady was able to step up and make the throw. Rankins did get a paw on Brady on the play where Brady fired a TD to Gronk who had gotten wide open cause of the time he had to find an open man.
