Will the voids at WR, OG, and MLB be filled through current and/or recent drafts? On paper, this is a really good looking team aside from those positions.

Aren't yall a 3-4 defense? Or is it looking like yall are switching to the 4-3?

Secondary looks strong though. Who will be the nickle cb?

Probably will be a battle between guys like Dixon/SJB(who should be imo the favorite due to talent)/Fredrick.

Could be a draft pick too

I think Hawthrone will shift to MLB. He is more suited for that role.

We may draft a top tier OLB or DL. OG, WR, and TE in the latter rounds.

Me think we will develop our starter at OG and WR from in-house.

Bet Vaccaro takes over the nickel role, he's way more quick twitch than SJB.

tbh, I have no idea what our base defense is with Ryan. Too much of that amoeba formation to keep track.

Thank you for pointing out Ellbre, though.

Has the staff cooled on its praise of Delvin Breaux?

Nah, he probably forgot to mention him. Almost half of the fans even don't remember us signing him lol.

Receiving corps is scary thin. LBs are really bad. DLine needs some work

All of these guys have played lights out in their careers, at certain times. If Rob R doesn't play them in the stands, this could be amazing. Fingers crossed.

We are not 4-3 or 3-4. Too much was made of that and Rob runs a multiple scheme that is mostly nickel anyway.

The starting lineup would probably be probably like:

QB
Brees

HB
Ingram/Spiller

FB
Lorig(though I prefer Johnson)

WR
Colston
Cooks
Toon/Saunders

TE
Watson/Hill

LT
Armstead

LG
Lelito/Kelemete

C
Unger

RG
Evans(for now; possibly replaced by whoever isn't LG)

RT
Strief

DE
Jordan
Hicks

DT
Bunkley/Jenkins

ILB
Ellerbe
Hawthorne(though I prefer Humber)

OLB
Galette
Haralson/Humber

CB
Lewis
Browner
Vaccaro/rest of field

S
Byrd
Bush/Warren

No real holes but definitely so so could be upgraded. Last year we had two huge holes and tried to plug them with aging vets (Goodwin and Bailey). We have a C and #2 CB now. G is the biggest question mark if Evans is released but I liked what I saw from Lelito(much better at G than C) and Kelemete.

Rob Ryan defense is like a carousel when it come to DE/OLB, and slot CB is extremely important in today's game.

Granted I just expanded on the lineup. But I hope my list gave us a hint of who they will draft.

We won the Super Bowl with garbage Wrs.

Colston, Moore, Henderson, and Meachem.

Brees spread the ball way too much to try and have a legit number 1 WR. It's not Brees' game.
