Wonder who it could be and what we are willing to give up

@MikeDetillier: NO Saints have been actively pursuing some pass rush help via a trade, but they also need to find a big "red zone" target. WR..

I'm not sure who we'd give up.

Robinson?

Who's gonna give up a pass rusher right now?
I'd hate to give up Robinson. Ingram goes down and we're screwed.

We do have pretty good depth at RB, which would make sense to trade KR. I kind of hope we trade someone else though. Khiry is a very valuable RB to have imo. Dude always finds ways to make something out of nothing on the field.

Yeah, and Ingram is slightly injury-prone.

Have you seen other teams? Spiller, KR, Ingram, and Murphy. Not a lot of teams are versatile at RB like us. I mean look at fricken Atlanta or Cleveland for example.

Agreed. The best we could have for is a Jerry Hughes type situation, but that's pretty much an exception.

I can't see us giving up Robinson. Maybe we're offering draft picks.

Usually it's draft picks but was kind of odd Khiry getting so many touches like he was being showcased

I would give up Ingram before Khiry honestly.... Free up more money and Khiry has more tread on the tires than Ingram. If we were looking that route which I doubt.

I think picks would be our best valued/expendable commodity.

Hightower looked decent in the preseason. If you could get someone for KR, you make the move. I think the issue goes beyond talent though. I think that coaching is part of the problem.

Bill Johnson probably needed to be replaced. His favorite technique to teach is the "Run right into the Offensive lineman move". He has a patent on that shite.

I can relate. Ingram definitely has more speed, but you gotta love how hard of a runner Khiry is. Dude doesn't go down easy. Either way, I'd prefer if we kept both backs.

Willie Young had 10 sacks last season and the Bears were supposedly trying to trade him. Supposedly had a fairly low asking price.

Smith's contract pays $8m this season (though it's based heavily on whether he is suspended or not). We couldn't have come close to that.
