Larry Holder ?@LarryHolder
#Saints RB Chris Ivory is expecting to receive RFA tender and not a long-term deal, according to a source. Still unsure on which tender.

Larry Holder ?@LarryHolder
That's what it will come down to. RT @askmetostay323: @LarryHolder It’s either a 2nd round tender or one with no pick compensation, correct?

I don't think he can have a 2nd round tender or any tender with compensation because he was an UDFA out of college...I could be wrong.

Really? Either way I think we're trading him.

I think they will let him test the market for a team to come forward...then seek a trade. Teams who could possibly come forward:

Arizona
Green Bay
Detroit
New York Jets
Maimi
San Francisco
Atlanta
Dallas

I just hope someone lets him play.
If the Saints don't offer a 2nd rnd tender if I were a team I sure would snag him.

No, but we can put a 2nd rd tender on him and then trade him for a 5th.

I am retard.

I was simply thinking in my head that if the Saints were to tender on the original NFL entry level...being that Ivory was an UDFA the Saints would recieve no compensation.....

I am stupid and will now attempt suicide..

Sure as hell hope it's a second. If he's leaving a 2nd would be great. Then we wouldn't have to feel so compelled to trade back unless no one we want is left

I want to see him get traded to someone that will give him carries bc I want to watch him run. He's one of the most exciting dudes to watch run the football recently.

A 2nd rounder would be nice.

I think you can tender for any round, but the round you tender them for ends up matching them with a certain amount of salary.

If a team outbids that salary, they get the player, but end up forking over the draft pick which they were tendered for.

If no team outbids the salary, the player is owed that salary by the team.

I think that's how this whole UFA, tendering hulubaloo nonsense goes.
