On the first day of the National Football League’s Free Agency period, La’ie’s Manti Te’o, an un-restricted free agent was scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints Thursday, sources close to the situation confirmed to KHON2 Sports Director Rob DeMello.
Te’o, 26, a third round draft choice by the Chargers in 2013 spent his first four professional seasons in San Diego totaling 221 tackles and two interceptions.

Did they ever find his girlfriend?

I hear his girlfriend doesn't like New Orleans.

Prolly not after we signed our ILB

To be fair, he was pretty good and decently productive when healthy. He's had some serious injuries though.
Bringing him in as essentially a tryout/prove it wouldn't be bad at all.

Why not..
Has been injury prone, but has played well. The chargers liked him.
WOn't be big money.

He's a good player when healthy, every down LB.

BTW John Hendrix was the first to report this.

YES!!!!
In all seriousness his healthy seasons with the Chargers he has 61 tackles twice and 83 tackles in 12 games in 2015. He's not Von Miller, but for cheap he's at the very least some depth.
ETA: He has never made it a whole season, so that's kind of scary, but it feels like everyone on the Chargers gets hurt bad (looking at you Keenan Allen).

I imagine he would be a league minimum 1 year type deal, if he can pass a physical.
I have no problem with bringing him into camp and seeing what he can do.
