Well he's either a fat slob or he's really buff for a kicker.

What dont you guys understand what SP said? Every position will have competition! This is exactly what we need! Hartley is a basket case!

I don't see another punter, fullback, or long snapper signed or being brought in. Just saying.

Though those 3 aren't "full time" positions, Morstead is signed loooooooong term(through the end of 2018; longer than anyone else) and is clearly one of the best punters(if not the best), Drescher and Collins are on close to minimum deals and have played extremely well, and you only need one of each of those positions.

Edit:
Sproles is pretty ripped though. Most kickers aren't in the best of shape so for a 5'9" kicker to be that weight he is either a powder puff or really buff.

Yeah that's some pretty big arms and shoulders for a kicker. Most of them look more like me.

So yeah, he's definitely in great shape.

Jose is a phenominal kicker and punter. I am sure the role he is fighting for will be specifically field goals. He is money from close range with a very consistent swing and ball flight. Also, has range up to 60 yards. Along with the possibility of attending SMU, Nick Saban personally tried to get him to Alabama a couple years back. Watch out Hartley! This guys good.

Saban doesn't care about kickers

I'd bet good money that's what Payton was thinking.

Hey, Gene Hackman had pretty good luck with a British kicker in The Replacements. Don't see how this is any different.
