My source did say that Benson and Payton want to do whatever it takes to win another Super Bowl.

Signing Randy Moss wouldn't exactly be a move you'd make to get to the Super Bowl.

I know right. The 49ers learned that the hard way.

I think Moss will be perfect for us. We lacked a deep threat last yr. Who will teams cover Moss, colston, graham, sproles, Moore, Morgan, and also add in Nick Toon who I have high hopes for.

He's not the deep threat he once was but I'd imagine he can stretch it a little bit, still. Might not be a bad idea if they can swing it cheap.

He wasn't a key part to them making a Super Bowl run.

I wouldn't see a problem with it. shite just tell him to run go routes constantly and everyone else run underneath routes. Brees would eat them alive. Some plays you could have him and Morgan both screaming down the outsides.

Here's what I think about that.

You're right, but he was a decoy and he did play a role. He also had 2 guys that don't throw the ball like Brees does. Smith doesn't throw a lot of deep balls, he plays conservative. While Kaepernick gave the throw/run threat.
Moss isn't what he used to be, but he could be a solid option for cheap, especially with a quarterback like a Manning, Brees, Brady (who we saw him with), or Rodgers.

Not a move I'd be excited about, but he'd be a cheap option. If Payton has some confidence in him I see no problem.

The Saints need to add a big playmaker on offense to help solve a scoring issue last season

New Orleans did rank second in the NFL in total offense with 28.8 points per game and 410.9 yards per game

Top notch analysis there! Just think of what could happen if the Saints could finally solve their scoring issues.

I see what he was trying to say, although he didn't say it very well.
Our offense was still able to put up points, but it was in no way shape or fork consistent. We were able to put up 21 points pretty quickly, but we wouldn't score again for another quarter and a half.

My point is if we sign him pretty cheap it can only help the offense
