while i agree, lets not underestimate the role the Cowboys played.

I say that because we're way too inconsistent right now.

I feel like we were better in 2009 and definitely in 2011.

And on the flip side, you have to love the 75 yard, 55 second drive to end the first half. It's amazing to have an offense so proficient.

We had offense struggles just like this in 2011 through week 8.

It wasn't until the 2nd half of the 11 season that the offense really took off. They were good, but the 2nd half of the season they began to kill teams down the stretch. They ended the season with 3 straight 40+ point games. And outside of the OT win in Atlanta and a win @Tennesse, the other 6 of the last 8 were arse beatings.

The game vs Dallas was as good of a performance out of the offense as I've ever seen. Don't be surprised if the offense really starts to catch their stride.

What is with people always trying to minimize what we accomplished Sunday?

I remember it took a while to click, but I didn't think it was that long. Either way, once it happened the 2011 offense was the most unstoppable thing pro football had ever witnessed. I hope with every fiber of my being that the same thing happens this year, although I don't think we can crown them just yet.

catch their stride against a slew of good defenses too.

Oh man, I can't wait to slaughter the hawks.

You saw what happened when we got back some major parts of the offense that had been out for injury. If we can avoid the injury bug, I expect the offense to continue its mastery.

pretty similar to this year actually.

In game 8, got our arse beat @ Rams and had given up 19 sacks so far that season. We were coming off a 50 yard rushing game. This year, game 8, got our arse beat @ Jets...

The next week we ran for 150 against the Bucs and didn't give up a sack

I concur. Some of the best defenses in NFL history would have trouble stopping our offense - if they even could.
