@RapSheet: Don't be surprised when #Saints emerge as a player for Dwight Freeney, especially if they miss on Nnamdi. Still trying to upgrade pass-rush

Does he fit the 3-4 OLB mold?

@RapSheet: On third down, Freeney would just rush RT @FansiaArtica: @RapSheet Thought he didn't fit very well in a 3-4 scheme, as evidenced last year?

If he's cheap enough, he's about the best there is almost in just rushing the qb

I'd rather Harrison.

At first I was like, "pass", but after thinking about it, Freeney/Mathis and the Colts defense were most effective when playing with a lead.

Something the Saints thrive at.

So now I'm like, "Sort of want?"

Can't see 3-4 end as a position of need.
I'm prob in the minority that thinks Smith can play effectivly at end in a 3-4. (a few others)
Seal an edge he can do with the ocassional sack. He just can't run side to side anymore.
The talk/debate for our nose tackle position seems to have been very quite in who we have and who we need.FWIW

Rather have Gallett, Wilson and Butler/draft choice.

did not fit in the Colts 34 but I do like him as a situational pass rusher. I will take him over Abraham or Harrison. He is younger and has some left in the tank.

I saw this earlier and it seemed like a guess on Ian's part. I don't understand some of the filler these guys put out on twitter. Schefter is one of the worst. "Like reported 3 days ago so and so is visiting blah blah blah..."

Do not want. Do not need that I can tell either. Why the hell would we be interested?

He's old. We need younger players to step up.

Do not want the guy fit a 4-3 like a glove...let him go to ATL and fizzle out.

In a 4-3 I agree at one point he was a great bull rusher. He was difficult to stop a few years ago, but he disappeared a whole lot last season. He might have something left but I just don't think it's worth the risk.

Don't want, unless the Saints get him. Then it's the best thing since sliced bread.
