Couple of quick thoughts on this game:

-If we play this team at full strength then I think we win by 14+. At our current level it's gonna be very close game.

-Does anyone know anything on Porter and Greer? Last I heard they're both out. If that's so then look for a monster game from Welker in the slot.

-We can run on their D. They're a shell of their former Super Bowl selfs. We need to establish the run early and Brees will torch them on playaction.

-Anyone know about Ellis and Bush as well? They both needa be playing.

Now now, he has just as many questions as answers (2 and 2). If he lumped the injury questions into one, the answers would outweigh the questions.

This may be the worst "Breakdown" I've ever seen though, given that it did not break down anything beyond "I think we can run on them."

Wow fellas, a little chippy today are we? Maybe the title was a little misleading, was just trying to get some banter on the subject started. We can change it to "Saints - Patriots talk" if that gets everyones' panties unraveled.

Nope, Saints at home are as good as any team in the league. I also think we have the running game the Colts don't have that can expose the Patriots. I'd see it being kinda like the Bills game, close for a while but then we put them away late.

Can we get a better breakdown.. How does our DE's stack up against their OT's..
How do our WR's stack up against their CB's..

Break it down.

Their OTs aren't overly glorified but they made Mathis and Sweeney disappear. Their LT is this guy from Europe who just started playing and looks to be an absolute stud in the making. The biggest thing they did against the Colts however was the intricate ways that they protected Brady. They motioned TEs a lot, chipped with WRs/RBs before getting out in their routes and slid protection; they kept the DEs guessing.

Our WRs are substantially better than their CBs. Our depth at WR is gonna be the biggest advantage against their D. They have athletic LBs who did a good job taking Clark away against Indy. They also have Belichick who knows how to take away one WR (Wayne or Colston). The key that the Saints have is they have multiple studs in Henderson, Meachem, and Moore (if he plays) or Bush (if they split him out) as opposed to the Colts who have a bunch of rookies and unproven guys at WR who are only benefiting from Peyton being a genius.

Thanks.

I wonder if they try to shut down Shockey.. if David Thomas can another huge game. He's steadily seen an increase in catches lately.

Yea our depth at TE will also help us. Mayo is a crazy good, very athletic OLB who did a good job against Clark. Adalius Thomas is also as athletic as anyone in the league but he's not as good in coverage and I basically consider him a DE even though I think they list him as an OLB.

Don't bet on it. It may be close, but Saints will be victorious.

if chris mccalister plays he will cover welker. I think greer will cover moss with sharper being right there to help. Jenkings and harper will cover the other guy. we will be straight and we will win this game 45-21. i think we will run with our three headed monster and allow brees to pick them apart.

45-21?

A think you're being a WEE bit overconfident there.

It may end up being a score on the order of those beatings we gave to the Giants and Eagles, but I think this one's going to be within a TD.

I think this is going to be a tough game.

This is MONDAY night, folks. Everyone watching. The Pats are looking to prove something. Brady, when he's rolling... one of the best NFL qb's ever.

I would not bet money on this one.
