I started a thread about this after the browns game. If te saints defense is being depended on for a stop to win the game, he is like 1 for 6. And te one was his first game

Yeah, that pass at the end of the 4th reminded me of the Cleveland game a lot. Not sure what the hell happened, but that should have ended the game. Defense did well near the end of OT, but our offense completely plummeted... Oh well, we suck, our division sucks. What's new?

I was talking about the end of regulation. This is actually a trend with Ryan's D that's been bemoaned everywhere he's been a coordinator. We just didn't see it last year.

Except for that blown play at the end of regulation, they did pretty well. It's not their fault that our offense tripped over their own feet yet again and gift wrapped the 49ers a win.

I don't really blame Ryan for the Patriots game. That was all on Payton and his clock management. We somehow gave Tom Brady the ball 3 times in the final two minutes and we actually stopped them twice if memory serves.

Im not shitting on Rob Ryan totally. I think he's a better than Gary Gibbs or Spags by far. Also, as someone else put it, Payton hangs the defense out to dry a lot.
