Breaux has been excellent outside of one game. He didn't allow a catch yesterday. Kikaha looked really good when he was healthy. And I'll give Lewis the benefit of the doubt. He's been injured a ton over the past year. They should probably just shut him down for the rest of the season and get him ready for 2016.

This defense sucked long before Browner and Allen showed up in NO.

BTW. It's official. Ryan is gone

i almost feel this demoralizes the team. They failed and allowed a beloved coach to get shite canned publicly for their shitastic play.

Ryan will probably say he will be unemployed "for about 5 minutes."

Such a stupid thing to say this season. For the first time in forever we actually have talented young players. We need someone who can develop them.

Kikaha, Ellerbe, Breaux, Anthony, all talented guys.

I'm going to go ape shite if our defensive coaches fail to develop them and then they leave and become all pro nfl greats somewhere else.

This team has had leadership problems starting with Payton
They have been severely hampered with injuries on defense, none of which is to blame rob ryan
Forced to play many defensive rookies and inexperienced vets to make up for lack of talent
Have made some big personnel decisions that are biting us in the arse big time, none of which rob ryan is to be blamed for.
Several poor drafts have caught up with us, none of which they allow rob ryan to make executive personnel decisions
Stop making excuses. He;s not the only DC to have had those kind of problems. He is just not very good at his job. Look at his history, been bouncing around the league for years. A solid DC doesnt get fired every 3-4 years.

Is he not out for the season after that knee?

This isn't Allens first ride in NOLA.

And Browner is a huge problem on this team.

Firing Ryan might make you feel good, but it's like taking sugar pills ... just psychological.

It's not the X's & O's

I'm pretty sure that he was listed as "questionable" to return, so I doubt it. He's clearly not 100% though.

The restaurant industry in NOLA is about to collapse.

I honestly think the secondary will be very good once the new DC realizes that they need a pass rush. That will make everyone back there look great. This won't happen this year...but it could come together next year.

Now, who's to blame for the offense? Sean Payton isn't getting fired but he needs to take a long look in the mirror.

And who exactly will be providing this pass rush?

Everyone knows we need a pass rush. Ryan was trying to generate one via blitzing

We lost a $10 million pass rusher and it hurts. That our a DT is our biggest need on D
