Not to be Debbie Downer, but the NO media says this kind of shite EVERY year for the OTA's and training camp. Hard to get too excited. Hopefully our D is getting better tho......it can't be any worse.

I think a big problem was that they didn't buy into Spags system. They didn't like his approach, his play calling, or his demeanor. Its no excuse to put that pathetic defense on the field, but it will account for some of the mistakes. I hope they buy into Ryan. If they do, there will be an instant improvement regardless if he is good or not.

This is my view on the subject; i believe that it may take more than one season to fix this defense. As long as there is improvement i will be satisfied. This is the third D coordinator in three years though; at some point you have to look at the roster and not the coach
