Anyway, I think we're going after one of the SB assistants so this is moot.

Guess it's taking Rob a little longer than 5 minutes to find a new job.

as a cowboys fan I 'm glad Ryan is gone. after further evaluation of his schemes, they leave too many huge holes that lead to big plays. this guys is full of Hubris.

Instead of coming up with a scheme to stop the zone read, he just cusses and stoms around saying "i hate that college BS!"...welp, don't act like a baby, earn your money and come up with a scheme to stop it.

This guy is not a good coach and the saints shouldn't want him

Kinda looks like a creepy, alcoholic version of Kevin Greene.

Yes, i've heard it could be tough for him to leave.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

What if the older lady is extremely rich and can pay for your lavish and luxurious lifestyle, so long as you keep her satisfied?

Is that so gross?

I met a wealthy older woman in Venice, Italy, during my military time near there. I turned down her proposition because it would have meant getting out of the service, but, the offer was enticing.

Why anyone would want this waste of a coordinator is beyond me. Even with the injuries to his team, he still had a reasonably talented D out there and outcoached himself. The guy is an idiot and will never realize his crazy schemes don't work

Not good enough for the Rams, huh?

The Rams finished 14th in least yards given up and 14th in scoring defense. The Saints finished last and second the last, respectively. The Cowboys finished 19th and 24th. I don't think the Saints can afford to be too choosy with their pick.

Don't forget Ryan's handy work against a pretty good offense with a pretty terrible team. LINK

Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett make lots of people look bad.

You have the teams right but the years wrong. Two with Dallas, two with the Browns, and four with Jokeland. Which, by the way, in the four years he was with Jokeland, their defense was the only good thing about that team.

One year they were ranked 3rd in yards and 18th in points. The 4 other years they were never better than mid 20's in either category. He's overrated thanks to his loud mouth and bravado.

interestingly enough...

SPN’s Adam Schefter provided an explanation on NFL Live Tuesday. Per Schefter, Ryan and the Rams indeed reached an agreement on January 24. Ryan began attending team meetings, but Rams officials “felt uncomfortable” about Ryan’s fondness for a 3-4 defense. The Rams have been a 4-3 team.

Per Schefter, conflict over whether St. Louis would change schemes led the sides to ultimately “cancel the marriage” with Ryan.

You often hear football coaches say there’s no big difference between 4-3 and 3-4 defensive systems.

Rob Ryan and the Rams obviously feel differently.
