The article linked in the other thread on this is correct.

WFAN sportsradio in NYC announced just now that the trade is a done deal.

Meh, not really something I'm going to get worried about. IMO they are still the 4th best team in the division.

Well, it's a done deal so long as Revis passes the Bucs physical/medical exam.

Revis isn't that dangerous to us because we don't really have a true number one receiver. Drew spreads the ball around. Also, our closest thing to a #1 receiving threat is a TE. He does make the bucs a lot better though, but the jury will be out whether he is worth the cost.

We scored at will on them

Beat then 41-0. Darrelle revis doesn't magically make that a competitive score

Yeah. Even if he takes one offensive piece, well have another 2 or 3 in any given play

I'd put them over Carolina, but they'll definitely have the best secondary.

Barron and Goldson at Safety, Revis at Corner, and if they have a decent second round pick they could grab Banks or maybe if they're lucky Trufant.

Of course our fans aren't worried. No move made by anyone in our division has worried the posters on here.

IMO, good move for the Bucs, and I am a little worried.

Just means more chances for Ingram to prove the haters wrong.

Barron isn't exactly a stalwart in coverage.

Can Revis cover the whole field? If anything, I am just happy they are about to lose $15M in salary cap for a couple of years on a CB!

Barron and Dashon playing behind him. Both are good Safeties, Dashon being really good. Before anymore "Barron isn't good in coverage" posts come, keep in mind he had the worst CBs in the league last year playing ahead of him.

I believe he could make them much better. But to give up a first rounder plus pay 15 mill a year is too much a risk for my taste; given he just started running this week. This could really set them back if he plays poorly/gets reinjured.
