Refs screwed us on Pierre Thomas' 2nd effort...

...for the first down. It was a key point in the game and then when they went for it on 4th, the run was stuffed. How was Thomas' second effort different from Matt Ryan's second effoert for the first on a sneak. Looked like the exact same call, but with a different outcome.

totally agree. that was a screwjob, and they got it wrong.

I said at the time, if you are going to call a timeout which we did, why not just challenge the spot. Payton has been missing attention to details this season.

Why because with a challenge you may not even need to go for it on 4th and 1. And if you win the challenge you get your timeout back.....seems pretty simple to me what the right call is.

I was wondering if it could not be reviewed, that the ball was whistled down to protect the "vulnerable" runner. If that is the case, why was Ryan not likewise protected?

And Selenai, STFU. This is nowhere near the same as the Vikings. I simply want an evenly called game, and in that case it wasn't.
