They stayed, same as the hornest, becuase Taglibue and Stern both told Benson and Shinn, you will not move from New Orleans and give us bad pr. Shin was told: you moved your team from NC a basketball mecca becuase you said you couldn't make it....sell the team, you are not moving it from New Orleans.

Neither had a choice outside of selling their respective teams.
