I like it. Truth is, we do have some things to be excited about. WK1 showed us this offense can be fire, and this week showed us the D can hold its own as well, regardless of the critical injuries.
Consistency is the bane of this team, and unfortunately it has been for most of SP's career here. Even in our great years we would lose to teams we should have beaten. The last few years have displayed great inconsistencies though, even within games themselves.

I think i see us at like 10-6 or 11-5 for the year. I think we win our next two and get some momentum going into the second half of the season. The NFC is very mediocre this year so 11-5 might be enough for a bye.
