exactly, brees needs to turn it up and manning needs to slow down to catch him. Can that happen? yes. Will that happen? probably not.

Isn't manning beat up?

I think he has a terrible game against KC. He may be playing with fire going into that game. Sick pass rush D.

quite possibly. I just never expect manning to have a "terrible" game, unless that game is of the playoff variety.

I'm gonna guess around 27-43 295 yards 1 TD, 2 INT. Sacked 4 times.

He's been playing through a high ankle sprain since the Jacksonville game. His completion percentage has gone down and he's thrown more ints since then, but he's still racking up yards and TDs at about the same rate. He's thrown for 684 yards and 8 TDs in his past two games playing through the sprain

FWIW Jason Campbell lit KC up for 300 yards, 2 TDs and no ints a few weeks ago. Case Keenum got them for 200 yards, 1 TD, 0 Ints and a 110 QB rating. Their pass D numbers are probably a little inflated from playing a string of terrible QBs this season

Y'all are all concentrating on the wrong name.

How the hell do they say Rivers is in the same tier as Brees.

frick Peyton manning.

No team, not even the Seahawks, could use homefield advantage more in the playoffs than New Orleans. The Saints' offense breaks records at the Superdome, but it isn't nearly the same outdoors. If only the New York Super Bowl was last year.
