I don't see ANY QB being a must-pick on value at #11. Who could be in play as cannot pass on at #42 though?

Mahomes I think gone by then but if possibly being available could be the guy.

Kaaya and Kizer possibly but not exceptional values there. At #76 I could get a excited about them.

Anyone else?

I'm expecting a QB sometime if presenting decent value. The next group I'm still trying to get a handle on range to expect them-
Peterman, Chad Kelly, and Davis Webb

too many teams out there looking for QB

we desperately need to go defense or guard at every pick we have this year.

to answer your question though, the ONLY QB worth using a draft pick on this year is Watson with our 3rd round pick, that is it, and we know he is projected as going #2 to the 49ers.

I agree we need a replacement for drew and don't have one on the team but we still have a good backup QB for emergencies even though he isn't much younger then drew.

there just aren't any good starting QB options out there anywhere so all we can do is hope there are some next year when we have no choice but to address it

Underwhelming QB class, we're not finding our future QB in this draft.

and with no draftable QB options out there what are you going to do?

you cant exactly go out there and sign kirk cousins or tyrod taylor and pay them starting money to sit behind drew so would you sign them to release drew?

I don't think so, maybe next year we wont have a choice and have to take one of the not so attractive options in FA or draft an unknown QB prospect and pray it works out? its very depressing to think about so I try to avoid discussing it

Yeah but we'll be drafting 32 so that kind of limits our options next year.

Kizer won't make it out of the first and could be the first QB off the board

Kaaya in the 4th would be a good pick

It makes no sense to have kept Brees and to spend a high pick on a QB. If we are only able to get a 2nd rounder for Cooks I would be ok with using it on a qb if the value is too great to pass up. Otherwise it's like we are drafting to not be terrible before or after Brees retires.

They aren't letting cooks go for just a second rounder. Might as well keep him for two years if that's the case
