That's not even addressing the pass rush need aspect.

If Gregory/Beasley falls to us at 13 and we go Anthony/Kendricks at 31, both of those concerns will be addressed in one night. Of course anything can happen (players fall/teams trade) but that is how I hope it plays out.

I would be in heaven if we don't have to trade up for that scenario to happen. We then use the 2nd, 3rd, & 3rd for WR, G, D-line or CB not necessarily in that order. There will be some quality players around in the 3rd. It would turn out as the best draft ever by the Saints.

Blow our minds you say? Kendricks at 13 and Anthony at 31. That's how you fix our long standing dreadful LB corp. Not one first round LB since 1995 and now two (actual) LBs in the first.

Having actual underneath/short pass coverage would go a much longer way to fixing our pass rush. It's not like the guys rushing the passer changed. It was the guys covering the receivers/backs/TEs that changed.

. I'm on the ILB at 31 bandwagon, whether it be Kendricks, Dawson or Anthony. I'd rather us get exactly who we want and get our pick of the litter (even if it is considered a "reach" at the time), than wait and hope one falls with the chance of missing out.

Agree with this.

The Saints Great Linebacker Draft of 2015. I'm in.

Elite pass rusher 13
Kendricks 31
Anthony or Perryman 44

Truly, I wouldn't mind sumpin like this. Ireland sez "time to quit fricking around and draft some real LBs"

Linebackers drafted since '06-

2014 4 26 126 Khairi Fortt California
2014 5 29 169 Ronald Powell Florida
2011 3 8 72 Martez Wilson Illinois
2011 7 40 243 Nate Bussey Illinois
2009 4 18 118 Stanley Arnoux Wake Forest
2007 7 10 220 Marvin Mitchell Tennessee

I'm more than fine here. Taking Kendricks at 31 would be super legit. That three man haul would be incredible, an insane shot of athleticism for our front 7.
