All last year, Peat step in at tackle when starter was injured. Why Payton had a Guard playing RT last night? He left Peat at Guard.

Peat is just for some reason not good at playing on the right. He can handle LT or LG fine but just gets turned around on the right. Also he's only practiced at guard this whole offseason.

With Strief out I would expect they'll move Ramczyk to RT and let Kelemete play LT, or move Peat to LT and let Kelemete play LG.

Peat to LT made more sense.

I think the biggest problem with that is you're then disrupting two starters. Ramcyzk is a rookie, it's gonna probably mess with his development to move him now. Peat is in a groove at LG, gonna mess him up to move him too.

It's possible they could resign Harris and let him play tackle but I shiver at the thought.

Ramcyzk is gonna move anyway when armstead returns. I could see Peat at LT, Kelemente at LG and Ram at RT.

Kelemete probably has more experience at RT than Peat does.

Project Peat did not have a good game last night.
He was pushed around constantly.
Whiffed many blocks.
Called for a hold.
And it was his man that sacked Brees below the knees that fortunately was flagged.

But in his defense, the whole OL sucked!!

He did not suck. Ram sucked and Peat was constantly having to pull double always worrying about helping to his left. The vikings due a good job of isolating lineman and they did that to Ram last night.
