I agree this dude is oddly shaped. But as long ad he plays his assignments and keeps Bree's Alice for three more years in happy

I remember when I heard Jim Mora Sr talk about the first time he saw Willie Roaf after they drafted him in the first round. He said he was pigeon toed and walked like an 80 year old.

He sure looks good in Canton.

A few factors involved but it's possible. He only saves $1.3m vs. $3.3m dead money so the value is poor.

Biggest factors are if Peat is good enough to take his place at RT, if Strief can play guard, and if Lelito(or someone else) can beat him out at guard.

4.6mil cap hit next year. I think with the amount of cap space we have next year, keeping a 3rd tackle @ that cost isn't too big of a deal.

Consider that Strief, Peat, and Armstead only combine for ~7.7mil:
Strief: 4.6mil
Armstead: 859k
Peat (assuming its similar to Aaron Donald's): 2.3mil

If Strief isn't staring I don't see us keeping him at that price. That said he has been our best and most consistent lineman the last two years(not saying much as that's the two worst years for sacks given up) so I think he has a good shot of starting somewhere on the line this year and next.

And this despite much of the analysts agreeing he has yet to fully grow into his frame. Gonna be nice watching him develop.

I see him staying if the backup tackle gets a lot of snaps, which I can see happening. His health is concerning, so at this point might be ideal to keeping his snaps limited

I think you keep Streif next year that price, unless he gets you good trade value, but I do not think an outright cut would be a good idea.....Armstead has missed some time already in his young career, hope it doesn't become a yearly thing but you never know, and it would be nice to put Peat in LT and Streif in RT if Armstead would miss any time

[quoteI bet his penis is tiny though [/quote]

when you have legs that huge, I'm sure anything laying around them would look tiny.
