Peat: Logs or Legs?
Posted by blueslover on 5/17/15 at 11:21 am43
dayum...
I can't give you my initial sense of how he looked on the field. What I can say is Peat's upper torso is being carried around by legs the width of telephone poles.
These two lower extremities called "legs" are massive.
"I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody with legs that big," Ingalls said.
This isn't hyperbole, which makes Peat's described agility so fascinating. Ingalls said Peat moves around more like a skinny-legged guy rather than a guy with 100-year-old logs tying him down.

This is a draft pick that the more I know, the more I like. Truly feel he had a significantly higher grade on the Saints board as a must-take pick.

I wonder if the damn Stanford mascot helped recruit those legs? Looks like he could be related to those logs...

Gold shoes and socks and black laces at combine? He knew what was up

I think if they want to take some of the load off Brees, then move Strief inside to guard and play armstead and peat at the tackles. We could lean more on the run game.

Not saying he can't but how do we even know whether Strief can play guard?

Think he will be a good one, but the dude looks weird. Like he might have elephantias or something.

He must be able to squat 1000 pounds with those legs
re: Peat: Logs or Legs?Posted by Chad504boy on 5/17/15 at 8:03 pm to Melvin
Cause he's played some guard earlier in career

I agree this dude is oddly shaped. But as long ad he plays his assignments and keeps Bree's Alice for three more years in happy

Wonder if strief will be gone next yr, he's got a 2.4 m roster bonus due
