I hope these guys did not tear up the field or cause a wrong paint issue for the real game.

Members of the New Orleans media who cover the Saints faced off against their Patriot counterparts in a game of flag football on the field at Gillette Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
Despite being greatly outnumbered and facing a former NFL quarterback, the Saints media team led by Sean Fazende and Garland Gillen of Fox 8 stunned the Patriots media team 26-12.
With only bemused Patriots staffers and a pair of paramedics looking on in the empty stadium, the Saints media team won the possession battle by taking a really long time in the huddle. The slowed down pace benefited the winded visitors who had only two substitutes to the home team's dozen or so.
It is not known at this time how many members of either media corps will be able to get out of bed in the morning to cover the actual preseason game between the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots that will be played tomorrow night on the same field.
I hope these guys did not tear up the field or cause a wrong paint issue for the real game.

The Patriot Media's starting QB was serving a 4 game suspension.

That's great! Benson can hang another banner or build a statue for a New Orleans Media Champions
