The premise is sort of absurd. If an NFL would be happy to get rid of you, most would have done it already.

It is a very heavy narrative that most mainstream media is in full believer mode on. It is consensus that we are "by far the worst defense in the NFL." There are a few stats that support it - absurdly - such as the fact that we allow the most yards per drive. It just seems cherry picked. Out of our 4 games, the only one that the defense really blew it was the Bucs game, and we STILL would have won that game if Brees didn't get hurt.
I doubt any of you care either.. but we are also by FAR the worst defense in Madden
73 overall for the defense. We are also the 2nd worst team in general at 76 overall. The only worse team is the Jags at 75.
