I'm actually much more optimistic heading into next week than I planned on being after the first quarter.

A lot of the players are very green.

there is some hope to take away from this game. especially since we play home vs tampa next week, who looked absolutely horrendous today.

Agreed, after the first two drives I thought we were going to be in for a long day

I feel the same way. I was expecting to go away from this game disappointed but I think we have a great shot at being a good team. Defense is actually further along than I thought. Offense will be fine. Arizona is probably the 3rd best team we will face all year and we played okay on the road.

There is a lot of overreaction, sure.
But that punt was retarded, even though I doubt we'd have scored on that drive anyway. I actually feel somewhat confident in the defense given the injuries in the secondary. We might be a semi decent defense when healthy.
The worrisome part is lack of receiving options on offense. The fact that we didn't bring anyone in to replace Graham or Stills is just stupid.

I wouldn't be worried if we just lost, the receivers sucking and CSP doing the same dumb shite he did a year ago is why I don't feel good about the rest of the season.
