"New Saint Nick Fairley leads all DTs this preseason in run stop percentage at 30.8%. Has 4 run stops on 13 run defense plays. -PFF"

Small sample size, but still some good preseason notes.

He's always been awesome when he's been in shape.

Just keep him away from buffets on NOLA.

Good thing we don't have good buffets

This is his chance to shine, be has no competition until rankins comes back. If he plays really well leading into it, he can get paid really well next year.

Granted we are talking pre-season here ,but so far he looks like he was worth a one year deal. I hope he has a good year .

He looked unblockable against Houston. Not sure if it was against their starting OL tho.

It's what makes the Rankins injury even more dissapointing. Those two with Jordan was getting me very excited about finally having a pass rush. Hopefully Rankins can heal fast and doesn't have a mental block to overcome when he gets back. I wouldn't expect high level from him after that injury though.

The Fairely signing saved our arse, and those 2 were going to be rotating with each other for the majority of the snaps.

We just need him to hold it down until around the bye week giving Rankins a few more weeks to get acclimated while providing depth

I like Cajun food. And I've never even had the "real" thing.

Maybe some LSU fans can hook me up with some of their corndogs and such when they come to Auburn this year.
