Retained a former U.S. Attorney to whitewash the investigation by employing her to conduct a media conference call affirming an investigation she was not part of.

-Employed the same former U.S. Attorney to today’s hearing to read the report of an investigation she did not conduct, but prohibited her from answering any questions from the players

This bothered me a lot as well. She basically got up and there and said "Look I'm a lawyer and I believe this was good investigation on the NFL's part. That is all!"

Put the popcorn away. The CBA gives Goodell the authority to make a mockery of justice. The only recourse they have besides striking, which isn't going to happen, is public sentiment and since this effected one team and the media has their heads up their arse, there isn't likely to be enough negative public sentiment to make Goodell blink.

Careful, I said this exact thing and was called a Tool, stupid, and said I was lacking logic.

Good luck.

I don't think they will strike; HOWEVER, I could see the players make a mockery out of the pre-season games (basically put forth no effort). I know its small potatoes but it could make the NFL look bad in front of its fans that hate having to pay full price for pre-season.

There's no way that happens. Pre season is when people can win or lose their jobs.

Now a sign of solidarity, like making it rain during the coin toss...hmmmm

This is reserved for the Pro Bowl.

Some people win/lose their jobs. I could see big name guys who are not in jeopdary of getting cut refusing to play. I coould see a scenario where guys like Brees, Ray Lewis, Brady, etc.. take a stand against the league in preseason only.

I think the players will have something up their sleaves to make the NFL look bad. Heck it could be at the HOF game which the Saints are part of...
