This would be a great 4 rounds for the Saints.

quote:

New Orleans Saints PICK 12 Noah Spence - DE, Eastern Kentucky
Spence is a top-10 talent, and could wind up there if he convinces general managers (and team owners) that he is dealing with the addiction that caused him to leave Ohio State. For now, we'll say the Saints take a chance on his talent here.

47. New Orleans Saints: Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA

78. New Orleans Saints: Deion Jones, OLB, LSU

112. New Orleans Saints: Jerell Adams, TE, South Carolina

I think I'd prefer a guard over a TE and maybe even an OLB after the second.

I think we can get a couple quality OG's in free agency because they usually come cheaper than most other positions. If they do so I like this draft.

Love every pick besides Adams in the 4th. Guard would be a better pick or even Rashard Robinson if he's still on the board

That would be a hell of haul in the first three rounds, but I don't think Clark or Jones will be available where NFL.com has us taking them

You really think this is an option with the way the team has been trying to clean out the locker room?

I don't see them taking Spence, partly for the character issues and partly because I don't see him fitting into a 4-3 defense except as a 3rd down pass rusher.

Why did saints waste their time if he doesn't fit on field for us?

I'd rather have Roberto Aguayo over that TE from South Carolina

Waste their time doing what? I assume they do due diligence on every draft eligible player. And at a certain point in the draft Spence is a good option for us. My point is you don't take a situational player with the #12 pick in the draft. But if they traded down I could see taking him.
